The Pick of the Week: Boston Landmark Orchestra
The Boston Landmark Orchestra in collaboration with the Boston Lyric Opera is promising an unforgettable evening Wednesday August 8, 2012 at the Boston Hatch Shell on the Esplanade. Popular works by Puccini, Wagner, Mozart, and Bernstein, many drawn from Boston Lyric Opera’s upcoming 2012 - 2013 season will be featured. Led by Music Director David Angus and featuring singers from the Boston Lyric Opera, the concert will takes its audience on a sweeping operatic journey from France, Italy, Japan, the US, to Sri Lanka. The program features excerpts drawn from favorite works of Puccini, Wagner, Mozart and Bernstein.
