Barrington Stage Company, under the leadership of Julianne Boyd, Artistic Director and Tristan Wilson, Managing Director, has had to make a change to its 2012 Mainstage season. The previously announced production of Arthur Miller’s “The Price” has been dropped from the season. A Broadway revival is planned of the 1968 Tony-winning drama. In its place is Miller’s Tony winning “All My Sons":

“I am sorry we will not be able to do The Price but absolutely delighted we can produce the play that put Arthur Miller on the map - and a play that is extremely relevant in today's world," commented Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, who will direct the production. Performances will run from July 19 through August 4. The press opening is Sunday, July 22 at 5pm.

Set in post-World War II, this landmark American drama examines the relationships between fathers and sons and the price of living the American Dream. An explosive secret threatens to tear a family apart in this powerful play about the conflict between business ethics and taking responsibility for one’s actions.

Single tickets for “All My Sons” and the 2012 season go on sale Wednesday, February 15. For information call 413-236-8888 or visit www.barringtonstageco.org
