Tanglewood Update, new popular artists added to venue

June will be rocking at Tanglewood.

Tanglewood is pulling out all of the stops this summer. With the addition of several new acts that were added to the main schedule, it is obvious that Tanglewood hopes to attract the younger generation.

The additional acts bring a scope of rock history to the grounds in Lenox. June is shaping up as Earth, Wind & Fire open the season n June 18th, followed by Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys on June 19th. Mr. Wilson plans on laying the music from the historical, 'Pet Sounds' album, which is considered by many as the greatest American album ever produced.

On June 21st, Jackson Browne returns to the stage after a one year absence. He was the July 4th headliner in 2014.

To complete the line-up of newly added performers, Train and pop star, Andy Grammar, will appear on stage, August 23rd.

The B52's will take the stage or the first time at Tanglewood on September 2nd.

The Tanglewood 2016 season is taking shape.
