MASS CREATIVE works with creative leaders, working artists, arts educators and arts and cultural supporters to empower creative organizations and the public with a powerful voice to advocate for the resources and attention necessary to build vibrant, connected, and creative communities.

Help be a voice!

Please join Topia Arts Center- Art About Town - Berkshire Dance Theater – Adams Film Society - Adams Anthony Center – Susan B. Anthony Birth Place & Museum – Adams Historical Society and Mass Creative on April 13th  6 PM at 47 Park St. (The old Firehouse) in Adams MA.

Leaders and supporters of the creative community in Northern Berkshires will be meeting face to face with Gail Cariddi to urge her to increase the state’s investment in the arts and cultural community.

Through this meeting, we have the opportunity to encourage the Massachusetts House and Senate to increase the state’s allocation to the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) by $3 million to a total of $12.5 million.

This is the first step in restoring the MCC’s budget to the $19 million level of a year ago. As the conduit for state funds for its many programs, the MCC distributes resources to institutions, towns, individual artists and students to produce, create and share artistic and cultural activity.

Please join MASS Creative’ s campaign to increase the state’s investment in the Commonwealth’s creative community by attending this meeting with your local representative and community leaders.

Refreshments will be served.
