"FYI: Hendrix was left-handed, but was not strictly left-handed. He was completely ambidextrous, and his 'mixed-handedness' may have been the key to his virtuosity. As a matter of preference, Hendrix took right-handed guitars and restrung them for playing left-handed and learned to play backwards. In this case, the strings are re-ordered so that, like a traditional guitar, the lowest string is closest to the face. "Cool photo. He looks so relaxed as tho he's floating in the music. The guitar has a right hand cutout. I wonder did he have a guitar for his left hand playing. He use to pick up his leather fringe outfits from a couple gals two doors down from me on E 9th St. I only saw him once being that I went to few concerts being that I preferred to go to the country when eveer I was free. There was a get Tim Leary out of jail benefit at the Village Gate. He played. All of the organizers were on acid and the audience was afraid to eat any of the food that so many people repaired with LOVE for fear that it was laced with acid. At the break we had a meeting. WE weren't into eating. I came up with the solution - give it to the bums, so we went out with all this great food. I remember seeing a bum walking down the street looking blissfully delighted as he was carrying a huge pie. "
