Wilco Tickets on Sale
Solid Sound Festival Returns This Summer
By: Charles Giuliano - Nov 30, 2012
While Wilco passes are now being offered I'm still wearing my wrist band from the Solid Sound Festival in 2011.
My ersatz hippie jewlery gets lots of comments. Like from chicks checking out my groceries at Big Y. "Hey dude wicked cool" is a typical respose. Followed by "Me and my mom were there. She went to like Woodstock back in the last century and stuff."
I wonder if flashing my vintage wrist band will get me in free this summer. Or at least some street cred when we hunker down for a meet and greet with the band.
Wilco is the best thing that ever happened to Mass MoCA.
Entertainment wise if you know what I'm saying.
By next summer we can even score some "medical marijuana."
Be there or be square.

We thought you should be among the first to know that the Wilco Solid Sound '13 tickets go on sale tomorrow.
As a MASS MoCA member and local supporter you can save money in several ways: first, there will be a limited number of "early worm" 3 day passes on sale for $99, beginning Friday, Nov 30, at 10am. (Those will sell out fairly quickly, but don't despair, "early bird" 3-day passes will then be offered at $124, still a nice savings off the regular 3-day pass price of $149). And here's our money-saving tip of the day for MASS MoCA members and local supporters: you can save the $8.50 online service charge by buying your tickets in person at MASS MoCA's box office. So stop in, say hello, and save yourself some lunch money. Do some holiday shopping at our freshly stocked retail store while you're at it!
If you can't get by in person, our box office will be glad to help you by telephone (413.662.2111), or use our online ticketing facility, www.massmoca.org (though all telephone and online purchases carry the standard Solid Sound $8.50 service fee for ticket processing). And of course you can always visit www.solidsound.com.
If you haven't experienced Solid Sound, it's just a hoot. The line up will be announced in January, but I promise it's going to be great.
