Yeah , yeah, yaddah, yaddah, yaddah.

It’s only April.

Off to a slow start. Of Epic proportions. One for the record books.

Two for ten.

Good grief.

Irony is the only team they have beaten is the Yankees.

Twice.

Opening day at Fenway the first lonely win of the season.

El foldo everwhere else home and on the road.

Even Cleveland.

As my buddy Phil the potter from Ohio likes to rub it in.

Salt in the wound.

Is this the same team that was widely picked, pre season, to go all the way to the World Series?

Again.

The only speculation appeared to focus on the eventual opponent.

Word from the dugout is that everyone is working their tail off.

Sure. Got that.

Not good enough.

We are used to the season ending el foldo.

Been there done that.

Bucky Dent.

But a pratfall out of the gate.

No, this is something new.

Even for the sox.

It ain’t even Memorial Day but.

Wait till next year.

"We love the Sox no matter how they do! It's just a fact of life. I'm one of those ex-New Yorkers who always disdained the Yankees. They are an example of everything that is (in a capitalist sense) wrong with baseball. It helps to have a baseball historian (and ex-New Yorker) as a husband who feels the same way. Go Sox!"
