Black Bear Brothers

Found as abandoned cubs
In Georgia’s Piney Woods
Rescued Babes in the Woods
Sent North to be Raised
Now more domestic than wild
Not Pets or Woodland Creatures
Not Silly Like Pooh
Or Ferocious Like Grizzly
Rump Higher than Shoulders
Short, Strong Curved Claws
Winter Lethargic Without Hibernation
Love Honey and Maple Syrup
Lumbering yet Quick,
Like Climbing and Swimming
Fraternal twins separated by different noses
Blood Brothers Inseparable
