Our friends at the Tanglewood Learning Institute are committed to presenting jazz year-round, and we’re delighted to remind our followers of three upcoming performances: Ulysses Owens, Jr., Ted Rosenthal, and Stella Cole. Ulysses Owens Jr. and Generation Y
You may have heard him in the Jazz Café’ at the 2011 Tanglewood Jazz Festival. He raised eyebrows then, and now he’s a headliner. Three-time Grammy-winner Ulysses Owens Jr. is a powerhouse drummer, producer, and educator known for his thrilling performances and innovative approach to jazz. Touring worldwide with his band Generation Y, he has wowed audiences at the Cotton Club in Tokyo, Summer Canadian Jazz Festivals, and the 2024 Monterey Jazz Festival.

Ted Rosenthal Trio with Special Guests — Classics Reimagined
Finish your Black Friday shopping early, put away the leftovers, and escape to the Linde Center. Celebrating the release of his new CD, Ted Rosenthal, his trio, and special guests Sara Caswell and Anat Cohen will perform themes of Chopin, Rachmaninov, Brahms, and more, creatively and swingingly reimagined into the world of jazz. Ted owns this franchise. He gave a sampling of this approach with Kids 4 Harmony several years ago, and now it’s headed to this prestigious venue. And with a CD release, no less.

Stella Cole
Stella Cole’s career experienced a viral launch, on the Internet, and she embodies the Linde Center’s commitment to rising artists. You’ll remember the first time you heard her, especially if it’s in these surroundings. Get ready for holiday magic with Stella Cole at the Linde Center, performing festive favorites from her EP “Snow!” and her new single “Merry Christmas, Darling.” With timeless classics and fresh gems reimagined in her dazzling style, this holiday concert is not to be missed.
