Harvest Time in Minervois
By: - Mar 21st, 2015The Romanian/ German artist, Dorothea Fleiss, invited Astrid and me to join her for a wee- long artists residence in the ancient village of Paraza along the Canal du Midi. It was hosted by Werner and Christine prominent members of the now multi-national community. We stayed within walking distance in the guest house of the artist Dirk and his wife Mireilla. There was round the clock work punctuated by home cooked meals, dialogue and song. There was a final exhibition at the local gallery next to the canal. I gave a speech and then was rushed to the hospital.
